Housecall Pro’s 10 person figure is arithmetic from two numbers on their page: MAX includes 8 users at $299/mo, and additional users are $35/mo each. Miter is not in the table because it publishes no price, and we are not going to guess at one.
What the gap actually is
For one crew of ten, SiteOps is $79 a month. Knowify is $329, Housecall Pro is $369 and Jobber is $399. Against Jobber that is about a fifth of the price, and the cheapest of the other three is still more than four times ours.
Price is not the only thing that matters and this page is not going to pretend it is. What price does decide is whether a small outfit can afford to run job costing at all, and on these numbers three of the four tools cost more per month than a laborer costs for a day.
What that costs over a year
The monthly price is the headline. The yearly number is what a small outfit actually feels, and per person is how it compares to every other cost on the job.

Every figure in this table is arithmetic on the monthly price in the table above it, and that price was read from the vendor’s own page on 2026-09-22. Nothing here is a quoted rate or a negotiated deal.
The one tier difference worth knowing
Knowify publishes a $99 tier and puts job costing on the $329 one. Their own page says the Advanced plan is “Everything in Core, plus powerful project management and job costing tools.” So the cheapest way onto Knowify with job costing is $329 a month for ten users.
It is worth being accurate about what Core does have, because the difference is easy to overstate. Core handles the paperwork of a job you have already priced: bidding, executing and invoicing fixed price and AIA work. What sits on Advanced is the reporting that tells you what the job actually made. On SiteOps that reporting is on the $79 tier.
What SiteOps does not do
Jobber has been at this longer than we have, has more integrations and a larger app footprint, and if you need dispatch, routing and a customer portal as the centre of your business, it is built for that and we are not. Housecall Pro is a home services platform first, and if your work is mostly residential service calls then it is aimed at you rather than at us.
SiteOps does not do takeoffs, production rates, or estimating math. You write the estimate. What it does is hold the estimate, send it for signature, and then put the real hours and receipts against it while the job is running, which is the part most tools leave until the job is over.
We are also smaller and newer than all three. That is worth saying plainly rather than leaving for you to find out.
How to check any of this
Every price on this page has a link to the page it came from. Open them, check the numbers, and check the date, because a comparison written in September is still being read in March.
And run your own job through whichever tool you are considering before you commit to a year of it. The price of the software is a small number next to the cost of discovering in month three that it does not do the one thing you needed.
